I hesitate to put the blame on Grey for all of it. But yes, like Grey used Cassius for centuries, I have always believed he sought to use Judas for selfish reasons. For more. Judas must have offered something Cassius could not give, and didn't Grey help develop the tech the UNA used for Judas too? He has connections across the globe but I do not want to flatter him as a lynch pin to all of it. But I could be biased, as I do not ascribe to the idea that one single person can be deemed the most important part of a system.

Prevent their freedom how? Putting them back into cages like in the Aerie seems like a bad idea.

Given we have pieces of one of the gods within us, I think it will be difficult for us to completely ignore their position and power in this world, and I hate the truth of that statement. Before we make any decisions about these gods, I think it more important to learn more about how they function as a part of this planet.

I agree that longevity is not the only factor, though it certainly helped. I believe him quite capable of creating a domino effect, and wanting to push an agenda of his own volition - but how others react to his actions comes into play as well. He has just put himself into many of the equations.

Considering what happened the last time someone tried to remove trace of the blue god from us, I am not sure how possible that is. Though I went my whole life without a power - as convenient as it is now, if it were necessary to give up, I could as well.

The gods could very well be tied to the stability of this world, and I have to admit, I would like it to remain stable.
