It's been a while, but it's not something completely out of the ordinary. If she was going after me, of all people, she could have at least- at least!!- prepared for the occasion. This is the sloppiest, most poorly executed, mock assassination that I've experienced in recent memory.

So, yes- there's rage. It's lacking direction, like stabbing in all directions with a blunt sword instead of finding a way to sharpen it. There's a reaction that she means to gain from the attempt.
I'm certain that's not far from her suggestion about you. I do hope you didn't fall for it.

[Loki is venting, which is very fascinating to read. Faith is a truly ... uninspiring person. All rage without direction. She's a touch boring. If she had any ambition, she might be interesting.

Unfortunately, she doesn't. She can't even keep her loyalties straight. She provides information one day and changes her mind the next.

It's bombastic in all the worst ways. At least someone like Ryuji was set in his goals.]

Puzzling that she would call it a mock assassination. My best guess is that she saw you and decided, in that moment, to take whatever problem she had out on you.

But don't worry. She hasn't sunk her teeth in the way she's hoped. She's just another idiot trying to pull off a ridiculous display of strength, just like many of the Displaced.

Why do you think she'll be back? I would assume she'd try to save face. Perhaps even pretend it never happened in the first place.

There's something she's trying to prove to someone who isn't me.
Even if she tries to save face through this monstrosity, she'll still be sitting on her rage. We're not a large group of people, even if she's keen to forget, there are others that are not.
She'll have to prove it to someone else who's not herself. I suppose it depends on how much her pride can take.
